Kidnapped

A historical adventure novel in which 17-year-old David Balfour is kidnapped by his uncle Ebenezer to steal his inheritance. Aboard the ship bound for the American colonies, David befriends the Jacobite fugitive Alan Breck Stewart after they survive a shipwreck. Together, they journey across the Scottish Highlands, evading capture and facing danger, while David works to reclaim his birthright.
