A Young girl named Katherine arrives in Oakwood just before Christmas to visit her friend Nyoda, but Nyoda is unexpectedly absent. Katherine’s journey to find her leads to the mysterious, seemingly abandoned Carver House, where she hears singing and encounters a strange girl named Sylvia, kicking off a series of adventures involving hidden passages, ghostly clues and the unraveling of a long-standing mystery.
